Plywood Sheet Cutting Tips

  • Standard sheet sizes: 4x8 (48"x96"), 5x5 (60"x60"), 4x4 (48"x48")
  • Account for kerf: Each saw cut removes 1/8" of material
  • Grain direction: For visible panels, plan grain direction before cutting
  • Cut large pieces first: This minimizes waste and gives more flexibility
  • Add 5-10% extra for mistakes and defects
