This calculator uses a simplified version of the Okumura-Hata propagation model to estimate cell tower coverage. The model accounts for frequency, antenna heights, and terrain type.
Actual coverage depends on many factors including terrain elevation, building density, foliage, weather, and interference. This provides a rough engineering estimate for initial planning.
