Joint spacing: Thickness (in) x 2 to 3 = max spacing in feet
- Sidewalk: 4" thick, wire mesh, joints every 4-5 ft
- Driveway: 4-6" thick, rebar or heavy mesh, joints every 8-10 ft
- Garage: 4" minimum, wire mesh, slope to drain
